Hole digger

An auger is a tool used to dig holes in the ground. The operating principle of a drilling auger is simple: the spiral is driven by the power take-off of a tractor or the hydraulics of an excavator.
Tree planting, vineyard posts, stakes, fence or trellis installation—there are multiple possible uses for an auger.

A tractor-mounted auger is a frame that drives a spiral and is mounted on the rear 3-point hitch of an agricultural tractor. The lifting and rotating control of the spiral is operated from the driver's seat. This allows for effortless soil drilling. The rotation of the tractor-mounted auger can be mechanically driven (by the tractor's power take-off) or hydraulically for narrow tractors or straddle tractors.

A range of augers for all hydraulic equipment types such as mini-excavators, compact loaders, wheel loaders, backhoes, and telehandlers is also available for construction projects, foundation work, public works, and other similar applications. They allow for digging holes of significant diameter and depth, quickly and efficiently.

RABAUD offers a wide selection of augers: blade augers for loose soils, tungsten carbide tooth augers, vineyard augers, planting augers... high-quality French augers since 1980.
