At RABAUD, we take pride in this historic range of log splitters that has made our brand famous for its robustness and longevity. The splitters are designed at our production site in Sainte-Cécile, Vendée, France, since 1980.

To choose a wood splitter, the splitting power is the most important criterion; it is the force exerted by the hydraulic cylinder, expressed in tons. However, it is essential to note that a wood splitter does not cut the wood; it splits it. The cylinder exerts pressure against the wedge to split the log along its entire length. It is important to match the model of your log splitter to the type of wood. Indeed, the harder and more knotty the wood, the greater the pushing force needs to be.
