Draining subsoiler
In order to improve soil quality and promote the growth of roots and plants, many farmers resort to subsoiling. This technique involves loosening the soil to enhance drainage. To meet this demand, RABAUD has designed its subsoiling and draining machine.
Its interchangeable share and colter, made of wear-resistant manganese-silicon, are robust and penetrate the soil with ease. Pulled by a tractor, the subsoiler advances, allowing the tines to create fissures beneath the ground, thereby promoting aeration and facilitating the drainage of excess water. An essential piece of equipment for clayey soils or those prone to waterlogging.
To further enhance the drainage process, the RABAUD subsoiler has an additional function for installing drains to improve irrigation. As it progresses, the rear part of the machine digs a trench. The drain, positioned on a roller, gradually deposits into it.
A simple and effective drainage tool for naturally sloping terrains. Note that this function is also useful for laying flexible pipes, electrical cables, or telephone lines in the soil. With the subsoiling and draining machine, control the moisture content of your soils and reduce the risks of root suffocation, the development of diseases, as well as erosion.
